Anti-Wrinkle
Treatments
A clinical consultation about expression lines.

A face that does not move is not the goal. We look first at movement, at where lines form, where they rest, and how they live across an expression, and only then consider treatment.
The aim is preservation, not erasure. Softened lines, retained character. A consultation is required to understand your goals, and follow-up is discussed during the consultation.
What it is.
Cosmetic consultations at Be Beautiful Aesthetics provide an opportunity to discuss individual concerns about facial expression lines with a qualified practitioner.
The consultation is conducted by Carolann O’Donnell (NMW0002017195), Registered Nurse Practitioner, conducting a clinical assessment of your individual circumstances, including how the face moves at rest and during natural expression.
Any options that may be considered are discussed in detail, including associated considerations, risks and aftercare. Information is provided in advance to support your understanding before any decision is made. Not every consultation results in a procedure being recommended.
Any procedure that may be considered after clinical assessment involves its own considerations, risks and aftercare. These are explained as part of the informed consent process. All care is delivered under the responsibility of the nurse practitioner, in accordance with Australian requirements for cosmetic procedures.
This consultation is only available to individuals 18 years or older. Individual circumstances vary, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Common questions.
Who is not suitable for this treatment?
A consultation is required to determine if treatment is appropriate. Some factors may make treatment unsuitable, including pregnancy, breastfeeding, certain medical conditions, certain medications, and unrealistic expectations. Your practitioner will discuss any contraindications during the assessment.
How long does it last?
This varies from person to person and is one of the things we discuss honestly during your consultation. We will not promise a fixed timeframe, because outcomes differ between individuals.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe only brief, minor discomfort. We will talk through what to expect during your appointment so there are no surprises.
Are there side effects?
Temporary effects such as redness, small bruises or tenderness at the treated area are possible. We discuss the specific risks relevant to you before treatment so you can make an informed decision.
Is there a follow-up?
Follow-up appointments may be scheduled depending on your individual circumstances and any agreed plan, and are discussed with you during your consultation.
Cosmetic treatments carry risks and are not suitable for everyone. Individual results vary. A consultation is required before any treatment, where suitability, realistic outcomes and risks are discussed.
